for crying out loudで「頼むから」という意味です。
「黒魔導士だろ、頼むよ！お前の力を見せてくれ！」といってるわけですね。

他にもスタイナーがリンドブルムで迷子になった時には、

Steiner:

Pardon me. Can you tell me where I am?

Grandpa:

What, You're lost? Gee... You're a soldier for cryin' out loud.

という感じで使っていました。

こっちは呆れていることを表現するために「頼むよ全く...」って感じで使っていますね。
